Superb 👌 Absolutely brilliant museum..exhibits are very well done and there is a lot of information to be digested.. Staff are very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable (Nick especially, it was a pleasure to meet you!!) If ever we are back in that area again I will be visiting again..

great experiece another place that was recommended to me so while staying at primrose valley we drove to malton to visit eden camp approx 22 miles i booked in advance which cost me £14.75 per person this is a summer saving price its normally £17.50 per person. we arrived there at 10 am which is the opening time and a perfect time as it was very quiet so no queues there at 22 billets to go through each one depicting certain parts of ww2. there is set ups of what thing were like during the war using manakins there is a lot to read about what happened during the war how people coped in britain with it, there are recordings of old radio commentary from hitler to churchchill. the site as a cafe and gift shop it took me and my partner 2hrs to go around and we didnt bother with looking at all the medals that soldiers has earned. this is such a great place if you want to learn about britain and ww2

Interesting information about WWII. Interesting. A lot of written information, no chance to read it all in a one day visit. Twenty different themes from WWII, well organized one after the other. Nice guy in the entrance.

Good value Wow. This was excellent. Informative, very atmospheric. We did atleast 4.5 hours here and could have done longer. A walk through various situations of the war. Planes war vehicles. Sound effects everything. Loved it here. Great value for money. Restaurant was excellent. Even the staff dressed as if in the war. Excellent value for money with the food. Nice and tasty. Would recommend.

Not a great start As we where staying in flamingo land just around the corner we arrived bang on 10am for opening. We drove in and straight to the car park. As we where walking we where acousted by the manager who accused us of sneaking in. Firstly its our first time and there was noone on the kiosk as we drove in. I assumed you would check in somewhere in the camp. The manager needs to take a good look in the mirror how he deals with things. Instead of asking me questions he immediately assumed I had sneaked in and drove through the no entry. He even asked me if the barrier was up. Felt like saying no we drove straight through it. He took me to the kiosk to be checked in and the lady on the kiosk confirmed all I said and was lovely. I hadn't tried to sneak anywhere, I had pre paid. Rest of staff where lovely but I would hate to work for a manager who, if he treats guests like that, how does he treat his staff. Would have been 5 stars but the obnoxious manager lost you a star. All that aside, great museum, well worth the admission money and if your intrested in history you will be in your element. Loads for you to see and ensure you take your reading glasses as lots to read. Admission price even better with summer saver and then cheaper again if you go on planet offers. You could easily spend all day here and I would highly recomend a visit, just don't go exactly at opening time as you may have an obnoxious manager accusing you of sneaking in.

Great place to visit. Great museum on a compact site with excellent displays that cover a wide range of military and civilian topics of conflicts and associated things that Britain has been involved in over the past century. I would highly recommend this as an informative trip for anyone interested , or curious, in/on these subjects. The entry cost was very easonable

Fantastic Place, Nostalgia, Education, An All Round Great Day Out! WOW... what a fabulous place, the exhibits, the interaction, the nostalgia.... I can't believe I haven't been before ... we had a brilliant day at Eden Camp and would not hesitate to recommend. We will be back, especially as the exhibits get bigger. The cleanliness of Eden was fantastic, it was clean well kept and we ate in the cafeteria which we also loved. Don't go and miss the medal room, we could have spent a day in there alone!

Brilliant and educational Been here a few times now but not since it had some refurbs. We visited this week and really enjoyed it (if enjoyed is the right word for such a topic?) it was extremely informative, though some others will try to hurry you along or push past you. The displays are great and all over is well maintained. We unfortunately couldn’t stay too long due to the heat and having our dog with us but we will definitely return, you can easy spend several hours here. Don’t rush people along if they’re reading the information - that’s the whole point of Eden Camp, to educate. It’s clean, gift shop was nice, we didn’t eat in the cafe but had an ice cream which was good.

A good example of a small museum keeping some important history alive. An interesting place with some good exhibits and a lot of historical information.

What a wonderful place We (four adults) visited Eden Camp museum on a grey and drizzly day, but were thoroughly in awe of the experience and the impressive layout of the exhibits. We would advise trying to avoid visiting on weekends or bank holidays as there is so much to see and read that having to contend with many others would be quite frustrating and ruin the visit. This is quite an immersive experience and made us exceptionally grateful for being born in post war Britain when we have every modern utensil and comfort at our disposal. Allow at least 3-4 hours for a truly informative visit.
