It’s easy to get to us on two wheels and we’ve got ample secure cycle parking.

The new Malton – Pickering cycle route goes directly past the museum, providing a great car free day out, be sure to add the museum to your journey.

We’re just a quick ride through Malton from the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route and Malton Station is just 2.2 miles away, the starting point for the Malton – Pickering cycle route.

We’re also on the popular ‘Over the River Rye’ cycle route and Dalby Forest is nearby too.

By Bus

The local Coastliner bus service stops off at the museum and runs services from Leeds, Tadcaster, York, Malton, Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington.

By Train

The nearest train station is located 2.2 miles away in Malton. From the station it is possible to use the Coastliner bus service or book a taxi to travel from the station to the museum.
