Eden Camp and Pickering CIC collaborate for Back to the 1940s weekend this October

Eden Camp, the modern history museum in North Yorkshire, and Pickering Town Community Interest Company (PTCIC), have announced the return of the reformed Back to the 1940s weekend. Taking place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026, this immersive two-day event invites visitors of all ages to step back in time and experience the spirit, sights, and sounds of wartime Britain.

Eden Camp plants the seeds of sustainability with tree donation from CGI

Eden Camp, the modern history museum in North Yorkshire, is proud to announce the planting of 250 Prunus avium (wild cherry) trees generously donated by CGI, one of the largest independent IT and business consulting services firms in the world. In addition, Eden Camp Veterans also received a £200 donation from the firm to further support their efforts for taking part in The Great Tommy Sleepout.
