Catering Assistants – Immediate Start
Job Types: Full or Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a catering assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our catering department runs smoothly, delivering high-quality food and service to our customers.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for our cafe, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
 - Set up and clean down catering equipment and supplies
 - Provide excellent customer service by attending to the needs of our visitors, ensuring a positive experience
 - Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely service and effective communication throughout the day
 - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of catering areas, including proper storage of food items and equipment
 - Engage with visitors in a friendly manner, providing information about menu items and catering services.
 - Adhere too the strict uniform policy set out by the company
 - Helping set up the cafe by prepping food on a morning and cleaning down the area on an evening including floors and bins
 
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
 - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
 - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding guest services.
 - Ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
 - Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
 - Happy to cover all COSHH requirements within a working kitchen
 - Training will be provided on site
 - Previous experience of cooking in a busy environment is preferred but not essential
 - Food hygiene certificates level 1 and 2 preferred
 
Due to the seasonal nature of the business and in order to keep relevant staff employed during the season, other duties may be required.
