The Eden Camp Modern History Museum, located just outside Malton, is where Britain’s wartime history comes to life. You can step back in time surrounded by the sights, sounds and stories of Britain at war thanks to immersive exhibits across the former prisoner of war camp. The award-winning museum is a busy family attraction that also includes a raft of military vehicles and tells the social history from one of the nation’s most turbulent periods. Plus, Eden Camp also has a fantastic café and gift shop, plus several outdoor displays and green areas.

We’re looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to support our café operations and help us continue delivering outstanding hospitality to every visitor.
About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll take day‑to‑day responsibility for supervising our F&B team. From supporting staff development and managing daily operations, to ensuring our café and kitchen areas are safe, compliant, and welcoming, you’ll play a key role in creating an enjoyable experience for every guest.
You’ll be a hands‑on leader who champions high standards, encourages your team, and ensures our Food & Beverage offer is always something our guests remember.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting the F&B team, including identifying training needs and overseeing absence and record keeping.
- Upholding excellent food hygiene standards and ensuring full compliance with HACCP and all food safety policies.
- Actively monitoring Health & Safety, reporting incidents promptly, and maintaining safe working practices.
- Maintaining high standards across the café, kitchen, and Food & Beverage areas.
- Ensuring all company policies, procedures, and financial processes are followed consistently.
- Maximising sales through effective upselling, motivating the team, and monitoring hourly/daily targets.
About You
You will be a confident and supportive person with experience in a supervisory position in Food & Beverage or hospitality. You will lead by example and have the ability to motivate a team to achieve great results.
Above all, you a need proactive, positive attitude and the passion to deliver memorable experiences to all of our guests.
Pay: £13. 81 per hour
Contract: Permanent position. 30 Hours per week
Weekends & bank holidays included.

Cook

You will produce our catering offer for our guests giving them a reason to return. The role is demanding, but hugely rewarding and will require you to prepare, cook and serve food within service and food presentation guidelines.
With a proven track record of working within a commercial kitchen operation, you will be responsible for delivering excellent food standards.
This role would suit someone who has experience of cooking in pub kitchens. You will have experience in a fast-paced environment and using griddles and fryers as a short order or line chef.
We are looking for team members with sparkle and passion, that are genuinely interested in catering and delivering the highest standard of food preparation, a team-playing attitude is a must.

We’re looking for people who thrive in a team‑focused environment and bring a positive, collaborative attitude to every shift. You will take pride in upholding excellent standards of cleanliness, health, and safety, ensuring our spaces remain welcoming and well maintained. You’ll be highly organised and detail‑oriented, able to handle a variety of tasks with efficiency and care. Just as importantly, you’ll be friendly, polite, and confident engaging with our visitors—especially during events—helping to create a warm, interactive, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Preferably you will have experience in a front of house waiting/serving role, although training can be given as more importantly, we are looking for team members with sparkle and passion, that are genuinely interested in people and delivering high quality guest service through counter and table service.
Pay £12.81 per hour
Contract: Zero-hour contracts available, from March to November 2026
Weekends & bank holidays included.
