Kevin Hollinrake, the Conservative candidate for the Thirsk & Malton constituency, joined local veterans, families, and community members at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The event took place on the 8 and 9 June and honoured the bravery and sacrifice of those who took part in the historic Normandy landings on June 6, 1944.

The commemorative event, held at Eden Camp, featured a series of poignant activities, including re-enactors, educational exhibits, and a minutes silence. During his visit, Mr. Hollinrake took the opportunity to speak with visitors and re-enactors.
