Join us on Sunday, 26th April 2026, for a spectacular Drive It Day event at Eden Camp Modern History Museum, Malton—hosted in partnership with Coast and County Radio!
To celebrate the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs national campaign ‘Drive it Day’ we’re bringing together a display of classic cars to mark while raising funds for the NSPCC’s Childline and celebrating the launch of Coast and County Radio’s brand-new Ryedale transmitter on 106.7FM.
National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005. It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organised in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle. It’s also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.

If you’re looking to arrive in a classic car, you’ll receive special discounted entry to the museum for just £5 per person—but don’t forget, you must pre-book online to register your place and all of the money raised will be donated to the NSPCC’s Childline.
