This February Half term, Eden Camp invites visitors of all ages to step back in time this February Half Term as Eden Camp brings the spirit of the WWII Home Front to life! Families can discover how ordinary people made extraordinary efforts through hands-on activities, interactive displays, and fascinating stories of resilience. From learning clever “make do and mend” tricks to exploring life in wartime Britain, it’s the perfect blend of education and adventure. Join us for a week of immersive fun that will ignite curiosity and inspire all ages!

• Interactive Exhibits: Explore modern history like never before with 22 immersive huts that bring wartime Britain to life. From the home front to the front lines, experience the stories, struggles, and triumphs of a nation at war.
• Family-Friendly Café: Refuel with delicious snacks and meals.
• Gift Shop: Take home a piece of history or a spy-themed keepsake.
• Cress Workshop: Get crafty in our wartime garden workshop! Decorate your own plant pot & learn all about Dig for Victory!

🌱Half Term Workshop

This springtime, get stuck into the soil as we transform Eden Camp into a hub of Home Front gardening spirit! Discover how wartime Britain grew its own food in back gardens, parks and ‘even rooftops’, during WWII. Through hands-on family fun, we’ll show you the power of self-sufficiency and how every seed counted. Come to our victory garden every day at 12pm till 1pm and learn about the ingenuity and sustainability during WW2.

🚙TANK TALKS

Join us this half term in the Heritage Hall for engaging small arms and tank talks, taking place daily between 1pm till 3pm. Discover how soldiers used small arms, explore the development and engineering of tanks, and learn how these machines shaped wartime combat. Blending expert insight with accessible storytelling, these informal sessions are ideal for families, curious visitors, and military history enthusiasts looking to explore technology, tactics, and real wartime experiences.
